My wife, son, and I absolutely adore the Centreville Regional Library and visit frequently. The library is always impeccably organized with exceptional customer service. It's clear that the staff takes great care in maintaining the space, making it a wonderful and welcoming place to visit.

Always overcrowded, very difficult to book a zoom room, customer service is non-existent, very cold, unfriendly environment. I don't think one employee has said Hi to me in once in the last 2 years. Other libraries are less crowded, have more meeting rooms (fairfax city library is a good example). Staff needs training, and building needs future renovation. In terms of book selection would give it 4 stars, so I recommend grabbing your books and leaving.

I like this library, but closing at 6pm for the majority of the week doesn't make sense. If this changes I would give 5 stars.

I was treated not in best manner in this library. I came with husband and two young kids to return books and have some time in our local library. My kids wanted to go to kids area but the personnel who works in “return area” was standing at information desk and chatting with other employees of library. He saw that my kids were waiting for me to go to kids area and pushing me but I wanted to return the books first. He was staying there and kept talking. When he came he was not welcoming and threw my library card “I don’t need this”. It wasn’t nice. He even didn’t say “sorry for waiting or thanks for waiting” I suppose this happen because I wear head cover. I’m a resident of Centreville and visit this library regularly and I SHOULD be treated the same way as other people! It was so nice when I used to go there before. All employers were welcoming and helpful but not this time. Unfortunately.

Turning away a toddler for toddler story time because the session is full of kids (babies) that a younger than toddlers is a big no no. Age appropriate children should be prioritized for the story time & then excess spots can be filled with non age appropriate children. Will not be attending this library again for this and many other reason I will not list..
